COLLABORATIONS

  1. I want to work for f#m magazine! Can I? You freaking cutie-pie! Absolutely!! Whether you’re a writer, artist, photographer, interviewer, graphic designer or just passionate about what we do, we’d love to have you aboard! Send us an email at fm.musicmagazine@gmail.com with any relevant information and we’ll be in contact! Right now our positions are volunteer based and unpaid as we are setting up our brand (funded by one (1) very broke uni student… RIP). However, as soon as feasible we’ll be looking to fill more permanent paid positions!!

  1. Where can I nominate myself, my local band or my favourite artists to be featured in Issue 02, 2022? We’d love to hear your suggestions! We’re always on the lookout for hidden gems and new musicians. Send us an email at fm.musicmagazine@gmail.com and we’ll see what we can do. (;

  1. Can we do an instagram collaboration? Short answer, yes. Long answer, Y E S. Either send us an email about what you’re looking to do or send us a DM on Instagram (responses not guaranteed). As we get these quite often, your request will be put in the queue to be featured on the @fm.musicmag Instagram. Please give us at least a week of warning (>10 days preferred) as time is needed in order to discuss the details as well as the schedule. Note that in busy periods we may be quite delayed or backlogged with requests. We currently only have one team member running our social media accounts at the moment but will get to you as soon as we can!! We also have an open call for interest for artists who would like to feature on our IGTV interview series: “f#m talk”. While it is a great way for up & coming artists to get interviewed about their music or new releases, we are open to featuring just about anyone. Producers, songwriters, music lovers, journalists. If you have a fun (or not so fun) concert story, a topic needing a platform, a music tutorial, tips you’d like to share or anything of the sorts we’d love to hear what you’ve got!!

  1. How do I nominate songs to be featured on your Spotify playlists? If you’re interested in having your music featured on one of our playlists it's as easy as shooting us an email or DM. We’re always looking for new music to feature!! Alternatively, if you have a song that you think deserves a spotlight or an idea for a playlist we’d love to hear it!! We’re a friendly bunch so feel free to have a chat with us and we’ll see what we can do.

OUR PRODUCTS

  1. How do Merch 4 A Cause Donations Work? While the current pandemic has caused a struggling scenario where many musicians are forced to throw in the towel, the change we hope to see by having more equal representation is thwarted as unsupported minorities are the first to have to sacrifice their dreams. This includes women, POC and the LGBTQ+ community. A portion of proceeds from each item purchased in our merch line goes directly towards supporting the bands/artists represented in our magazine, so they can feel the support and community to keep on making your new favourite music! This is not only crucial for current aspiring artists but for growing teens who determine their own success capabilities from seeing themselves represented in their idols. Every time we receive an order we set aside all donation proceeds ready to split between the recipient artists and send directly to their bank accounts at the end of every month (the first being January 31) . Whether this can help go towards costly expenses associated with being an artist like renting equipment, staging live shows or booking recording studios, or even to help pay for groceries so that artists can focus on making music as a career.

**Artists from this issue who will receive proceeds from ‘Merch 4 A Cause’ orders include: Chloe Tang, Aimés, The Buoys, Alex Teh, Alexus A., A Swift Farewell, Vetta Borne, Tenderheart Bitches, Danii, Alicia DC.

  1. Why does my item not look exactly how it was advertised? Due to items being handmade in our studio, run to run differences are common. This is what makes each item truly unique as we try to stay away from fast fashion and instead, make a move to slow fashion where each item is thoughtfully made and is less taxing on our environment. Our small runs mean that each item truly is one of a kind. However, if you believe there is a fault with your item, please contact us immediately at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com with your order number and an image of the problem.

  1. How do I take care of my merch? Good question. As a general rule of thumb, you should hand wash all the merch with similar colours in cold water. Do not iron directly on the prints (reverse is safe on a low heat setting). However for more accurate information, see the inside collar as each garment has a care label which will tell you everything you need to know about how to properly care for your items.

SIZING & STOCK

  1. I’m not sure what size to buy? If you’re not sure what size to buy feel free to email us at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com with your measurements and we’ll try our best to personally find you the perfect fit! Make sure to tell us what item’s you are interested in as this will impact sizing fitting.

  1. My size is out of stock but I still really want a particular item. What should I do? While we are a small business, our limited stock means that occasionally popular sizes will sell out. Not to worry! We are always happy to restock a size so we can get a piece for you. If your size isn’t currently available email us at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com and we’ll see if we can get it in for you at no extra cost! For new sizing restock requests please allow an extra 14 business days for your order while we ship in & manufacture your product. Please DO let us know when you are interested in an out-of-stock item so we’ll know what to restock!! (:

  1. My size isn’t displayed as an option. Can you order in bigger/smaller sizes than what is currently produced? Unfortunately some of the manufacturers producing the blanks of our items don’t have the best size range, so this isn’t always the case. While we always aim to be inclusive to every person and body size, we are also a small company (with a tight budget) and it is not always feasible for us to order large quantities of every single size and risk potential wastage. HOWEVER, if a size is available outside of what we currently stock we can absolutely order in an extra size and print a new item just for you at no extra charge. It would be our pleasure so please don’t hesitate to ask! It’s always best to check directly with us by email at  info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com. Make sure to include the product you are interested in and your measurements (or desired size).

SHIPPING

  1. How long will my order take to arrive? Please allow 2-3 business days for us to prepare and ship out your order. Unfortunately we can not give a definitive estimate for how long your order will take to ship once it is in the courier's hands as this will depend on a number of factors including location and holiday periods. Most of the time you should be receiving a tracking number with your order confirmation. However, where this is not a possibility, it is best to check with the courier directly for more updated and accurate information.

  1. My order hasn’t arrived yet. What do I do? PANIC! Set up camp by your door, eat cookies and cry until the mailman comes. Just kidding. If you feel as though your order is taking a suspiciously long time to arrive then send us an email at  info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to fix the issue. Please note that as we currently only have a very small team working to manufacture, prepare and ship out orders, sometimes it will take us a little longer to ship your order to you. Note that if your order contains a pre-order item, your order will not ship out until your pre-order item is ready (as to avoid extra shipping fees). It is always best to check with the courier directly for more updated and accurate information. They will always know better than we do (especially once the package is out of our hands).

  1. Do you ship overseas? Yes! Good news? Absolutely. We ship just about everywhere! Not-so-great news? International shipping, particularly for uncommon shipping routes, can be more expensive. We use weighted shipping calculations to try and keep shipping cost calculations as low and accurate as possible. Though unlikely, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for any potential excess import fees upon arrival.

  1. NOTE: If you have pre-arranged for one of our team members to hand deliver your order/magazine, leave a note at the checkout so we can refund you the price of shipping. This is only allowed if pre-arranged with a member of our team. Email us at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com to see if this applies to you.

RETURNS

  1. Do you offer refunds? As per our Return Policy, we offer store credits over refunds. Sale items are final. Please email us at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com so we can rectify any issues you might have right away. Refer to the questions below if you require exchanging an item for a different size so we can organise this for you.

  1. I realised I bought the wrong size. Are you able to exchange it for me? We do not offer immediate exchanges as we can not assure that your desired size will be in stock. However, as long as the tags are still on, and the garment is unworn, we are able to refund you with a store credit which you are able to use to repurchase in the correct size. If your size isn’t currently available email us at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com and we’ll see if we can get it in for you!! No hassle at all.

  1. How do I go about exchanging an item? First step is to email our team at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com including your order number, name, and a description of the product you need to exchange and why (i.e. require a different size, colour or style). Please allow our team 2 business days to respond. Make sure to check your junk email folder if you do not hear back from us. It is the customers responsibility to cover the cost of shipping. Do NOT send us back an item before confirming with our team by email. We can not accept your item this way.

**Note: Please check item descriptions for non-exchangeable item disclaimers before purchasing or lodging a refund/return/exchange with our team. This is for sanitary and hygiene practices with our customers' safety in mind, i.e. our underwear sets.

  1. My item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Oh no! We hate to hear that a faulty item has slipped through our quality control checks or that our customers may have received an incorrect item. Please email us at info.fmmusicmag@gmail.com right away so we can fix this for you!! Please include your name, order number and a photo of the issue. Make sure to inspect and review your item within the first 48hrs of receiving your order so we can properly amend your issue.

OTHER

  1. I’d like to send an order as a gift. Do you have any special options for this? Yes! We wrap all orders as if they are going to be received as gifts to add a personal touch. However, when checking out, please add any instructions to the notes section so that we can accommodate your wishes to the best of our ability. We are more than happy to add a customised note or wrap the items in a specific way!

  1. Is it okay to eat mayo if it's gone brown? The fact that we've received this question enough to add it to our FAQs is astounding and quite frankly, alarming. No. Put down the forbidden brown sauce. And seek medical advice. Please.
